Virtual Reality Experimentation

Behavioral neuroscience methodology has been greatly expanded with the availability of virtual reality technology. We can now experiment with realistic environments, depth perception, motion, and much more. 

 

In our state-of-the-art virtual reality testing space, we integrate electroencephalography with virtual reality experiments.

We have two aims in the VR lab. The first is to explore whether the results from classic behavioral studies using 2D paradigms can be replicated using virtual reality. The second is to use the new capabilities of VR to do research previously impossible with 2D testing.
